Star Gazer: A name or insult for a wolf who stares into space a lot.
Caribou Dung: Referring to something or someone to caribou dung.
Coyote Heart: Referring to something or someone for having cowardly or mischievous behavior.
Bear Heart: Referring to something or someone for showing brave or violent behavior.
Fresh-Kill: A freshly killed prey animal.
Dirt: Feces.
Star Wolves: Good spirit wolves.
Star Falls: A spiritual waterfall in the packs territory that allowed wolves to visit the Star Wolves home.
Dark Falls: An evil waterfall that leads to The Forest of Darkness, home of the Shadow Wolves.
Shadow Wolves: Evil spirit wolves.
Tail Length: The length of something compared to a wolves tail.
Wolf Length: Something the length of a wolf.
Bear Length: Something the length of a bear.
Tree Length: Something the length of a tree.
Pup Step: Something only a tiny step away.
The Rot: Something to call an unknown sickness.
Coyote Food: Referring to something rotting, can be used as an insult. Ex. "You're no better than Coyote Food!"
Eagle Eye: Stating that something or someone is vigilant.
Bear Dung: A very rude insult or curse word Ex. "Bear dung! Why did I have to step in that!" or "You worthless piece o Bear Dung!"
Lop-sided Elk: A tease to refer to someone as clumsy, can be used as an insult.
Bird Brain: A harsher version of Bee Brain.
Furball - A (friendly, yet harsh) insult. Severity of the insult is almost always decided by tone.
Fuzz-brain - A (friendly, but harsh) insult. Severity of the insult is almost always decided by tone.
Shadow Heart: Stating that someone is a cold or evil by comparing them to the Shadow Wolves.
She-wolf: Female wolf.
She-pup: Female pup.
He-wolf: Male wolf.
He-pup: Male pup.
Mange-pelt: A harsh insult used to call someone who doesn't groom often.
Sharing Tongues: The grooming of pack-mates in the heat of the day. Can also be referred to as talking for long periods of time.
The Howling: A night howl that excludes the young pups and the omega. Preformed to bond the pack.
Rogue: A hostile wolf that doesn't belong to a pack.
Loner: A neutral wolf that doesn't belong to a pack.
The Cosmic Territory: Where the Star Wolves frolic. You must lay down on the rocks in front of the waterfall and lick the water from Star Falls, then you will slip into a soft sleep.
The Forest of Darkness: Where the Shadow Wolves prowl. You must lay down on the rocks above Dark Falls at the very edge, lick the black stone, then you will feel agonizing pain for 3-5 minutes before passing out and entering The Forest of Darkness.
Ice Cough: A sickness that makes the throat feel like ice shards are picking it when coughing, eating, drinking or talking.
The Foaming: Rabies.
White Cough: Mild chest infection.
Green Cough: Severe chest infection, deadly to elderly wolves and pups.
Blood Cough: Deadly chest infection, once you get this, there is little hope.
Snow Melt: A word to describe melting snow slush or dirty snow.
Alpha: The leader of the pack.
Beta: The second in commands.
Subordinates: The hunters, guards and warriors. They may take a mate and have pups with the Alpha's permission.
Pups: The pack's pups. Not much to explain.
Omega: The packs scrape goat. They eat last, have no mate or pups and can be attacked or picked on at will
Thin Blood: A New pack member that was born a Rouge/Loner
New Blood: A pup or a Subordinate
Jupiter: The ruler of the Star Wolves.
Neptune: Ruler of the Shadow wolves.
The Sorter: A battle scared Cougar that judges if you become a Shadow wolf or a Star wolf. (Battle scared because of battling wolves that did not want to have the fate of living with Neptune)
Sayings:
May The Sorter treat you well. : A saying to a wolf that has recently pasted away.
As much use as a dead fox: A (harsh) insult, meaning the recipient is useless.
Do you have bees in your brain: Referring to something or someone as crazy. Ex. "Do you have bees in brain?!" Or "Nice one bee-brain."
(You're) crazier than a fox in a fit!: An insult used when a wolf (or wolves) are acting crazy. Another variation uses "madder" instead of "crazier."
When hedgehogs will fly: An exclamation style statement that shows disbelief that a certain event will likely occur (as in That will happen when hedgehogs fly), used in many variations. Somewhat like the human phrase, When pigs fly!
How in the Cosmic Territory?: An exclamation used meaning "How in the world?"
May the Star Wolves light your path/Banish all the fleas from your nest: A friendly term used to tell others they wish them well.
Pain in the tail: An insult meaning a wolf is irritating or lazy.
Sorry catches no prey or Sorry fills no bellies: Means wolves can be sorry, but that will not change the past.
What in the Cosmic Territory?: A exclamation similar to "What on earth?" or "What in the world?"
That's a load of bear droppings: A harsh exclamation saying that something is nonsense.
Thistles and thorns: Used to describe bad luck (as in: Thistles and thorns! I blew it!); similar to "Darn it".
You fight/hunt like a dog!: An expression used to insult or tease a wolf who fights/hunts poorly.
Who made dirt in his/her fresh kill/nest?: A phrase to describe a cranky or suddenly moody wolf.
Who ruffled their fur?: A similar way of saying "who got under their skin?" But in wolf terms.
Oh my stars!: Wolf equivalent to "Oh my gosh!"
